HISTORY OF SEO

In 1995 Google came out as a research project by Larry Page and Sergey Brin. In their project, first they named Google as"BackRub".The domain name for Google was registered on September 15, 1997, and the company was incorporated on September 4, 1998.Google is created to organize information on the Internet and help users find the information they were looking for. Google began primarily as a search engine. But still Google faced tough competition from their rivals like MSN,Yahoo,Excite etc.They compete with this Search Engines to give best and correct information for the users from across the world.

SEARCH ENGINE OPTIMIZATION(SEO)

There are two types of Optimizations are there,On Page and Off Page optimizations.

On Page Optimization is the practice of optimizing individual web pages in order to rank higher in Google search and also to modify the web pages.

Off Page Optimization is the practice to be used to improve the position of web page in the search engines.

GOOGLE ALGORITHMS

Larry Page and Sergey Brin devoloped the PageRank Algorithms to give better search results.

Google introduced 3 process in their Search Engine.

• Crawling: Crawling is the process of gathering the information or scanning the contents of a web page.

• Caching: Caching is the process of saving the snapshots of web page in the database of the Google servers.

• Indexing: Indexing is the process of adding or organizing the web pages and their contents into the Google search.

NICHE Specific

NICHE specific is content specific.Manipulation of contents in the websites like stuffing the keywords visibly and hidden to make the page rank to top in the Google.

Key Word Stuffing

Key word stuffing is the practice of making a website with excess of keywords to manipulate the site ranking in the Google search.Keyword stuffing have three types of techniques.

• Black Hat Techniques: This techniques is illegal techniques to make the websites easily founded in search engines and making top ranks in the search engines.
• White Hat Techniques: This techniques is legal techniques to make the websites easily founded in search engines and making top ranks in the search engines.
• Grey Hat Techniques:  Use either illegal  and legal techniques to make top ranks in the search engines.

Link Specific

Link Specific is another algorithm introduced by Google.Link Specific is introduced for avoid the excess of keyword stuffing uses in the web pages.It will help the users to get better results in their search.But Google faced illegal practice to rate the sites top.So they have  introduced another algorithm.

Quality Link Specific

Quality Link Specific is introduced by Google after Link Specific,they practice the quality link to give better results.Quality links rates 10th highest and 1st as lowest ranks respectively.Quality links sites or web pages will list top in the search.

Passing The Juice 

Passing The Juice is a term is used to reference the value of a hyperlink to a particular website or web page.Quality hyperlinks are one of the most important things to gain top ranks in the Google search.

Google Adwords is an advertising services by Google for the business wanting to display their advertisements on the Google searches.Adword services sets a prepaid budget for the users for the advertising.Pay per click is used in Google Adwords .

Google Adsense

Google Adsense is advertising service by Google.This program is used to display or set the advertisements in the websites by Google and get paid by a share from Google as per the views and clicks.

Websites which have same domain name is Exact Match Domain.Google will not punish the websites which achieved the credibility within a short period of time.

Pirate Update (2012)

Pirate updation is introduced by google to prevent the copyrighted content from the sites.This copyrighted complaints filed through Digital Millennium Copyright Act(DMCA).This updation will caught these kind of piracy activities and drop the sites ranks from google search.

Hummingbird Update (2013)

Hummingbird updation is related to semantic search results.Semantic search result is a deep search result.This updation will help the users to get better results according to their each keywords.

Pigeon Update 2014

The purpose of Pigeon is to provide preference to local search results.
